Our teachers are active members of the following organizations:

American College of Musicians / National Guild of Piano Teachers

The Piano Guild, as it is called (a division of the American College of Musicians), was founded in 1929 by Dr. Irl Allison. Since that time, the Guild has grown to more than 850 audition centers where thousands of students enroll annually in its international auditions, which are held throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Music Teachers' Association of California

The Music Teachers' Association of California, incorporated in 1897, is a professional organization dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in music education. With over 4,700 members, there are more than 63 self-governing, affiliated Branches throughout the state.

Music Teachers National Association

For well over a century, MTNA has been the backbone for a collaborative community of music-teaching professionals, connecting both the seasoned educator and those at the beginning of their career.

California Association of Professional Music Teachers

CAPMT is the California State Affiliate of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). CAPMT is a non-profit music teachers organization of over 1,000 members, teaching in independent studios, private and public schools, conservatories, colleges, and universities throughout California.

International Association of Professional Music Teachers

The IAPMT is dedicated to creating resources that assist students of music studies to grow and flourish. With the help of its talented teachers, adjudicators, and event staff, it aims to provide students from all walks of life access to world-class exams and competitions that cover a wide gamut of styles, instruments, and musical philosophies.
